Moldova’s Ambassador to Russia Lilian Darii was summoned at the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry today.
According to the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry, the Moldovan diplomat was asked to give explanations for the fact that President Maia Sandu had not accepted the letters of accreditation of the Russian ambassador, nominated for Moldova, Oleg Ozerov, who came to Moldova in last October.
Thus, the Moldovan ambassador in Moscow received the text of the Vienna Convention and a verbal note, thereby demanding the explanation of the ‘’reasons for the infringement by the Moldovan side of its provisions, as regards the uniformity of the practice applied in relation with the heads of the diplomatic missions and the order in which they present the accreditations.’’
Moldova’s Foreign Affairs Ministry said that it would come up with a reaction.
